Tropical Punch

Ingredients:

  • 1 (46-ounce) can red tropical fruit punch
  • 1 (6-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 (6-ounce) can frozen grape  juice concentrate
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 3 1/2 cups chilled ginger ale

Directions:

Combine red tropical fruit punch, lemonade, orange, grape concentrate and water. Pour over an ice ring in a large punch bowl.

Just before serving, carefully pour in ginger ale and gently combine with other liquids.

Makes about 1 gallon. Serves 30-35

Cappuccino Punch

I’m always looking for new and exciting ways to make coffee into a drink. I found this recipe in my “Home Cooking” magazine.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup instant coffee granules
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 quarts milk
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 quart chocolate ice cream, softened

Directions:

In a small bowl, combine sugar and coffee. Stir in boiling water until dissolved. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.  Just before serving, pour coffee mixture in a 1 gallon punch bowl.  Stir in milk.  Add scoops of ice cream. Stir until melted. Makes about a  1 gallon.
